Hamas booby-traps a Gaza school with explosives

There is no serious military resistance to Israel's incursion into Gaza. Most of the Hamas leadership are cowering underground, and most of the Hamas toughs -- young kids who love to parade about in uniform -- have deserted.

But military might is not the aim of a terrorist group. Terror is -- thus the unguided missile attacks on southern Israel.

And whenever Israel responds militarily, the aim is not terror -- that is put on hold. The aim is to fabricate maximum civilian casualties, to demoralize Israel and to win a PR war internationally.

That's why Hamas wired a school in Gaza with explosives. Imagine the international headlines had the school been detonated -- Israel would have been blamed, and had the truth emerged days later, it would have been too late in this age of live, 24-hour-a-day coverage.

When it's on the offensive, Hamas's aim is to kill Jewish children.

When it's on the defensive, Hamas's aim is to kill Arab children.
