Canada in 2010? 2011? Or maybe next week?

Here is a video clip from a pro-Hamas protest in the U.K. The protesters insult and threaten the police, who submissively retreat. They even throw things at them:



That's the UK in January, 2009.

How long do you think it is before we see those same sights in Canada?

We've already seen police telling pro-democracy counter-protesters to leave the streets, saying that they were "inciting civil disorder". In other words, the police are already pressuring anyone who dares to resist the pro-Hamas mobs. How long before they themselves surrender?

How long before such meekness invites the kind of attack we saw in the U.K.?

And how long before that U.K. behaviour itself morphs into the kind of nightly arson and riot we see in Paris?

And how long before that in turn turns into suicide bombs and missiles, as in Israel itself?

Outlandish? Consider that Israel proper is just under 20% Arab. France is close to 10%. England is 3%. Canada is 2.5%.

As the general Muslim population increases, so too increases the radical segment; and as it grows, it tests its boundaries, and -- seeing none -- pushes further. It's the broken windows theory, applied to ethnic rioting.

I mean, really: look again at the videos I've posted of the pro-Hamas protests in Toronto:



and in Montreal:




Toronto tried out the Hezbollah flag, and identity-hiding face masks, and death threats.

Montreal went a bit further -- burning the Jewish flag, hoisting posters of terrorists, and taunting police.

Just how much further is it before police are pushed? And do you really think that our touch-feely multi-culti-trained police would do anything other than defer and submit?

I don't think that's the natural state of police; but when they're led by such fools as Toronto's Bill Blair -- who boasted of his blindness to the confessed Islamist motivations of the terrorists he arrested for plotting murders and other acts of jihad -- what do you think the orders of the front-line police really are?

I put it to you that, without the kind of stinging national rebuke that only a Prime Minister can make, we are on the same inexorable path as the U.K. and France -- towards increasingly bold violence that is soon indistinguishable from an intifada.
